The Sacred Heart of Jesus
The reason that the Order of David the King exists is because God "has sought a man according to His own heart." The Lord Jesus has revealed His heart to us, and everything that we do is in pursuit of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. For this reason, we attend Holy Mass every First Friday.
Quaesivit Dominus sibi virum juxta cor suum

Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth
To whom the Davidic Order is consecrated
The Order of David the King is the order of Kings, an order composed of laymen who recognize the jurisdiction of Christ as King of the Universe, and our own juridical responsibilities to our household. Just as Christ only chose to come into the world under the love, care, and authority of His Mother, we, too subject ourselves to Her authority, placing every aspect of our lives into Her loving care.
King David
Our Patron
King David is the patron of the Davidic Order because he is a "man according to God's own heart." Every aspect of the life of David draws us to God's heart, and so we study and meditate upon his life. Learning from his life of prayer, his pursuit of holiness, his radical repentance, his intense mortification, and the manner in which he cares for his family and his Kingdom, we, too, hope to be called men after God's own heart.

Saint Louis IX
The great Christian King of France
In the 13th century French King Louis was called "another David," he was a king who understood that the authority of his office comes from Christ, and is for the good of his subjects, just as our authority over our household comes from Christ, and is for the good of our families. Saint Louis is the Christian model of Davidic Kingship which informs the day to day life of a Davidic Man. Saint Louis prayed every hour of the Divine Office every day, he reformed France in matters of governance and justice, and he courageously defended Christendom from its enemies at home and abroad. By his intercession, we strive to order our own households as Saint Louis ordered the kingdom of France.
Saint Maximilian Kolbe
The "martyr of charity," Franciscan Friar, Catholic Priest
There is no greater model of true manhood in the modern age than Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe. Many who met Saint Maximilian during his life simply describe him as a saint because of his joy, his intense love, and constant willingness to sacrifice for others. In Auschwitz he was known for giving half of his daily ration of bread to someone else. In the starvation chamber he encouraged those who were suffering by his side, heard their confessions, and died a hero. Saint Maximilian is the model not only of sanctity in the modern world, but of true masculinity for the Davidic man.
